Chapter Three: Updates, Photos, and Thank Yous

We've been incredibly busy the past few weeks! Here’s an update on some of the stuff that we’ve been up to.

Number One:

A great big giant THANK YOU to The Makepeace Brothers and Alexandra Bassett for contributing their musical talents at an awesome concert to raise money for HANGMAN SCHOOL FOR GIRLS! This first fundraising event was a huge success and I had a great time. You know it’s a good night when the evening ends with a dance off!!

Number Two:

We are continuing our fundraising efforts with a week of gift wrapping fun at the Barnes & Noble on 54^th Street and 3^rd Avenue this week. You buy books. We wrap them in pretty B&N designed holiday paper (Christmas, Chanukah, AND Non-Denominational!). And you tip us according to our paper folding talent, personality, belief in our cause, and your generosity! Lucy first did this at Northwestern and that’s how she got the great idea.

Members from both The Vagabond Theatre Ensemble and FullStop Collective have been at B&N all week and we’ll also be there every Saturday morning until Christmas! So stop on by!

Number Three:

WE HAVE A SPACE!!

HANGMAN SCHOOL FOR GIRLS will be performed at Manhattan Theatre Source @ 177 MacDougal Street in Greenwich Village in the last three weeks of March 2010. Check out the theatre at the link to the right and be sure to mark your calendars NOW. You won’t want to miss this show. We are very excited about the space and we can’t wait to share it with you.
